Hardly a sermon but an

Hardly a sermon, but an intriguing email, about which I shall ask Donbledore, when he arrives today.

Vicar,

Given a favorable season, the proper alignment of the Stars and a few other indispensable and undefinable elements, even the most mundane activities can bring about the most extaordinary results. Such was the case with the haircut I received from the Barber of Seattle at our first meeting in 1986. It was as if, while holding those gleaming scissors aloft in one hand, he had, with the other, flung my severed ponytail(!) into the Firmament, opening before me a path as remarkable as it was unforseen. The details, as well as the rest of the Sermon, I leave to him as a Barber's Tale and wish you shorter hair, longer life and equally great good fortune.
